San Franciso Disable/Special Needs Information

Convenient parking for the disabled is provided at all airport parking facilities for vehicles displaying a:

* DP (Disabled Person) license plate
* DV (Disabled Veteran) license plate
* Disabled Parking placard

In the Domestic and International Garages, disabled parking spaces are adjacent to the elevator lobbies. In Long-Term Parking, disabled parking spaces for regular, as well as “van accessible” vehicles, are located on the first (ground) floor. SFO’s Long-Term Parking shuttle buses are wheelchair accessible.
Overheight Disabled Vehicles

Domestic Garage:
Vehicles over 6’6” cannot be parked in the Domestic Garage and should proceed to Valet Parking, located off of the “Departures” level roadway, opposite the Delta Airlines curb. A valet attendant will assist you with parking.

International Garages:
Vehicles up to 8’ 2” can be accommodated in Garages A and G.

Long-Term Parking:
Vehicles up to 9’ can be accommodated on the first floor. Vehicles up to 7’ can be accommodated on the second floor and above. Disabled parking spaces for vehicles over 9’ are provided in the over-height parking area located outside the long-term garage.
